The Aarogya Maha Utsav, organised in honour of the birth anniversary of Tribal Pride – Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, concluded with grand success, delivering life-changing healthcare services to thousands. The mega health camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with 25,000 patients benefiting from various essential medical services. These included TB testing and nutrition kit distribution, general health screening and consultations, complete blood investigations, X-ray and sonography, free medicine distribution, eye check-ups with free spectacles, and wheelchair distribution to beneficiaries. This impactful initiative was held under the esteemed guidance of Smt. Himadri Singh, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh, and was strongly supported by the dedicated leadership of Dr. Dharmendra Kumar, Chairman – DRVA Charitable Trust. Together, this effort marks a significant step towards creating a healthier, empowered, and progressive community.
In the year 2010, the DRVA Charitable Trust organized one of the largest free general medical camps ever held in Mumbai — the MAHA AROGYA SHIVIR, at Gazdhar Bandh, Santacruz West, Maharashtra. This mega initiative was aimed at delivering essential healthcare services to the underprivileged sections of society, completely free of cost. The camp successfully catered to the medical needs of over 50,000 individuals, including children, women, senior citizens, and economically challenged families, who often lack access to proper medical care.
Throughout the camp, a wide range of general and specialized medical services were offered, such as check-ups, diagnosis, basic treatment, and referrals to hospitals for further care. In addition to treatment, the camp placed strong emphasis on health awareness and disease prevention, educating attendees on hygiene, nutrition, chronic illness management, and preventive practices for a healthier lifestyle.
In 2011, the DRVA Charitable Trust once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community healthcare by organizing the MAHA AROGYA SHIVIR — a massive free general medical camp held at Seoni, Madhya Pradesh. Recognized as one of the largest free medical camps in the region, the initiative successfully extended free medical assistance to over one lakh individuals. This included a wide demographic of children, women, elderly citizens, and economically disadvantaged families who otherwise face challenges in accessing quality healthcare.
The camp offered an extensive range of primary and preventive medical services, including general check-ups, diagnostic services, basic treatments, and referrals for advanced care when needed. Beyond medical consultations, a key component of the camp was health education, aiming to create awareness about preventable diseases, hygiene practices, nutrition, maternal and child health, and lifestyle-related conditions.

The camp successfully reached over twenty thousand individuals, offering critical health-related support to children, women, senior citizens, and economically vulnerable families.
Recognizing the urgency of the times, the camp focused on pandemic preparedness and protection, distributing free Mask Kits, Sanitization Kits, and essential Medicines to prevent the spread of infection and promote hygiene. These items were provided based on current health guidelines and the specific needs of each individual, ensuring that the beneficiaries were not only protected but also informed.
In 2022, the DRVA Charitable Trust continued its unwavering commitment to community health by organizing the MAHA HEALTH CAMP at Ichhapore, Surat, Gujarat. This significant initiative was designed to extend essential medical services and health awareness to underserved sections of society. Through dedicated planning and execution, the camp successfully provided free healthcare services to over eleven thousand individuals, including children, women, elderly citizens, and families from low-income and marginalized backgrounds.
